“Nigerians Are The Ones Streaming My Songs, Our People Are Lazy- Shatta Wale Blows Hot
Shatta Wale has berated Ghanaians for their lackadaisical attitude when it comes to supporting Ghanaian artistes across the various digital platforms.
In a new post he shared, the honcho of the conspicuous SM fraternity thanked Nigerians for supporting his music career and streaming his music despite being on a warpath with them a few months ago.
He said Nigerians have come to appreciate his talent and he’s do grateful to them.
Meanwhile, Shatta Wale has slammed former radio personality and music executive cum Ghana’s Minister of Tourism, Arts, and Culture, Mark Okraku Mantey over a statement he made recently about him.
Mark sensationally said in a radio interview that he and a bunch of ‘cabals’ blacklisted Shatta Wale on Hits FM for his disrespectful personality and pushed Stonebwoy at his expense to teach him a lesson.
Speaking on HITZ FM, Mark Okraku Mantey said Shatta Wale turned down an interview the station had sent out to him, thus he took the decision to blacklist him.
“Shatta wale was rude. We invited him for an interview and he turned it down so we decided to blacklist him.
So we decided to support Stonebwoy and make him a hero because he was not rude. So decided to play a lot of Stonebwoy’s songs,” he said.
